Dustin Sobieraj

About Me

My name is Dustin Sobieraj, and I began my coaching career in 2011, when I had to medically retire from football at Kansas State University under coach Bill Snyder. I received my Bachelor of Science degree and an American Coaching effectiveness program (ACEP) from Kansas State University. During my time at KSU, I was apart of the defensive line that made a turn around with "Snyder 2.0."  The team made it to the inaugural Pinstripe Bowl. When I had to retire, I began working in the recruiting office for Kansas State Football. During those years, the team made it to the Cotton and Fiesta Bowls. I also coached the defensive line at Manhattan High School during my last year at KSU. That team made a playoff run going 10-1 for the season and finishing top 15 in the state.

After KSU, I began coaching at Humboldt State University. I was apart of one of the greatest D2 football turn arounds with 0-11 in 2013 to 8-2 in 2014. I was apart of coaching the #1 defensive line in the country for sacks and an "All American" defensive end.

After Kansas State and Humboldt State, I began coaching the defensive line at the then Dixie State University. Again working to turn around a program that went 7-4 in my last season where they were undefeated at home. The defense was #7 in the country in sacks and had the "Defensive New Comer of the Conference."

After Dixie State, I spent time as the defensive line coach and recruiting coordinator at Rocky Mountain College. I had a few all conference players and was apart pf coaching the inaugural NAIA All Star game with the defensive MVP attached.  Those players are currently being scouted for the XFL and Overseas teams.  With the last draft class of the XFL, I have coached a professional athlete who is originally from St. George, UT.

After stepping away from Montana, I returned to St. George, Utah. In my first season coaching the defensive line at Dixie High School, the defense became a Top 10 sack leader in the state. I am apart of coaching the #10 pass rusher in the state of Utah and a top 10 defense.

In total, I have been apart of five program turn around runs. I have coached multiple All Conference, All Academic, and Individual award winning football players.

With my injury, I had to make a total life change in how I went about things mentally and physically.  I have always had a passion for fitness and working through challenges to achieve your goals.  After stepping away from college football, I chose to get certified as a Fitness Coach ( Personal Training / Performance Enhancement). At first, I used this as a way for me to help a young man with football skills, a high school baseball player, and a woman wanting to find a better program. I have since adapted my programs to help any individual looking to better themselves athletically, physically, or mentally.  With my programs, clients have yielded up to a 5% swing in skeletal muscle mass gain and body fat loss in a month in a half. Most clients yielded a 2-3% swing in the first 2 months.

Current clients that I work with have created new personal records (PR) for themselves monthly, creating new possibilities for themselves and their daily lives.  My client age ranges from as young as nine (9) up to eighty (80) years old, with a variety of different goals and outcomes.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon.
